Color Club Kaleidoscope - In Theory & Evolution
I don't do nail polish posts that often but these colours were not to be ignored. I have had a hard time tracking the names of the polishes exactly but these two are from the Color Club Kaleidoscope collection. I think the coral/orange shade is called In Theory and the pastely blue shade is called Evolution but there's a chance I'm wrong.
They seem to be pastel colours with a neon sheen to them that I really love. Both colours have been perfect for use over the summer both on holiday and going to summer garden parties or celebrations as they echo the beautiful colours of summer on your nails.
I like the formula a lot - it isn't too think and two coats is enough. I also dotted the coral/orange over the blue to test the opacity and it was passable. They don't go together fabulously but I liked the clash on alternate nails.
I have seen a beautiful milky pink shade which I think is called Endless that I definitely want to get my hands on!
You can buy your own Color Club polishes from the Birchbox website here (click!) or from the Color Club shop here (click!).

American Apparel Nail Lacquer - Angeline
As mentioned in my last post, whilst in America I hit the American Apparel store at the Las Vegas Outlet Mall. After snapping up my Bobble I went in for the kill at the nail polishes too. I seem to always stock up on accessories rather than clothes.. probably because you can never be too big or small for shoes, bags and nails!
Anyway, I've read a few good reviews on the American Apparel Nail Lacquer range so I picked up three colours, all various shades of pink. This post is to show my favourite one, Angeline.

I can't remember exactly what I paid for this polish as I've thrown away my receipts but I think they were on 3 for $15 which is why I grabbed 3!

These photos were taken roughly 3 days after application and as you can see there is barely any chipping other than right on the tip of my index finger. There were no lumps or bubbles in the formula and 2 coats was perfect to get a "salon" type finish. If you've ever had a Shellac manicure the end product looked a lot like how Shellac looks once dry. You won't even need a top coat to keep the colour shiny as it is vibrant without.
There's not much more to say other than I'd definitely repurchase this, even if it wasn't on offer as it looked almost perfect for 5 whole days which is something I haven't found in any other polish brand.
I will add that one of the other shades I purchased was Coney Island and I loved the colour but found it chipped very quickly without a top coat and I have yet to try it with one.
You can buy American Apparel Nail Lacquer in most AA stores, online and also in Selfridges for an RRP of £9.00

Another ELF purchase
After my post the other day I decided to buy even more from ELF. I'm not particularly in dire need of anything but nothing was too expensive so I thought I'd treat myself!
(all are clickable links)
All are still available on the website and I'll be posting reviews of them once I've had a chance to test them.
Have you tried any of these? Let me know!

OPI Obsession
My nails are well and truly spoilt sometimes! Last week I did an impulse buy on ASOS of 3 nail polishes. I'm a sucker the Kardashians, I know a lot of people (mostly MailOnline readers from what I've seen) cannot abide the Kardashian family but although I've still not quite put my finger on what they actually do I still love them! When I saw the Kardashian Kolors were on ASOS I was sold in an instant!
I paid £14.95 for ASOS Premier with my order so next day delivery was free and I could track my delivery slot from that morning, impressive.
Anyway, here they are...
Nicole by O.P.I. - Kimpletely In Love £9, O.P.I. - Kiss Me On My Tulips £11, Nicole by O.P.I.- Something Sparkylie £9
I love these colours! They're very easy to apply and have a short drying time, even with 2 coats of Something Sparkylie I was only waiting about 2-3 minutes for it to dry.
Kiss Me On My Tulips is part of the Holland collection and is a vibrant fuschia colour. Mine has had a solid 3 days without chipping which I'm very impressed with.
Something Sparkylie is one of the Nicole by O.P.I. Kardashian Kolors and it's a perfect glitter polish. I've found it really compliments Kiss Me On My Tulips as an accent nail.
Kimpletely In Love is a milky, pearly pink. One coat is perfect for a quick, easy shimmer on the nail however I prefer two coats as it's slightly thicker and looks lovely when it catches the light.
These Kardashian Kolors are available from ASOS, BeautyBay and I have seen regular O.P.I. colours on both of those websites, John Lewis stores and some nail/beauty salons.
Have you tried the Kardashian Kolors??

December Glossybox
This month I received the most festive box so far! It's shimmering red and sleek compared to the usual matte pale pink. The products came in white paper with a gold and red sticker tied with a black ribbon.
*Sorry for the bad photo quality! My camera is on it's last legs but I was desperate to post about this box the minute I received it!*
This month's products :
Blink + Go Hi-Definition Mascara - RRP: £14.99
Cargo Cosmetics Classic Lip Gloss - RRP: £10.00
Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle Nail Varnish with Stripped To Go Sachet - RRP: £16.00 for both or £14.00 for polish.
MeMeMe Seventh Heaven (Primer) - RRP: £15.00
Rituals Foaming Shower Gel - RRP: £6.50
I haven't tried any of these properly yet, but I have experimented with the nail polish on one nail. I think I'm going to need a polish of a similar colour underneath to be fully happy with it, but it is a beautiful colour without being too obviously "festive".
Anyway, this is the December Glossybox. Did you receive the same things as me? Have you tried them yet??
Let me know :)

yaaaay for employment!
I went in and saw my boss this morning and he gave me my job back! Yaaaay :)
I gave smart/casual a go with black leggings, layered vest tops and a pink blazer

And did very simple make up with cat-eye liquid eye liner. I found the most beautiful earrings that I'd forgotten I'd bought. They are exactly the same pink as my blazer!
I also celebrated after by buying 3 Models Own nail polishes from Boots. I only paid for two as Lilac Dream is currently free when bought with any two other Models Own cosmetics (apart from the Pro range)
A great start to my day :)
